Our work parties are taking a short summer break before starting another big programme of work this autumn.

Our work in recent weeks has included cutting back vegetation along footpaths, watering recently planted saplings, installing the final 'welcome' monolith at the Reddings entrance, delivering split logs for firewood and doing a range of repair work to culverts and gateposts.

Work restarts in September and we will soon be able to recommence coppicing and other work which we avoid during the birds' nesting season.

We will welcome several new volunteers and look forward to another productive year keeping our exceptional woods in top condition.
